At Cellulant, I led the redesign and UI/UX refresh of the Virtual Card product a digital payment tool that enables users to generate and manage virtual cards for secure online transactions.
Project Scope:
The goal was to modernize the look and feel of the product, improve usability, and align it with updated brand guidelines and evolving user expectations. While the core functionality remained intact, the redesign focused on simplifying workflows, enhancing clarity, and building user trust through clean, intuitive interactions.
My Role:
I drove the visual and experience overhaul, working cross-functionally with the product, compliance, and engineering teams. I audited the existing user journeys, identified friction points, and redesigned key flows such as card creation, display, freezing, and security settings.
Design Highlights:
Streamlined onboarding and card management flow
Cleaner, modern interface with improved visual hierarchy
Clearer micro-interactions for sensitive actions (e.g., copy CVV, freeze/unfreeze card)
Responsive design system scalable across multiple partner channels
The redesign significantly improved user comprehension, reduced support queries, and helped position the Virtual Card as a more polished, competitive offering within the fintech space.
