Project Brief: Tuition Teacher Portfolio Website – UI/UX Design

I was commissioned to design the user interface and user experience for a personal portfolio website for a private tuition teacher. The primary goal was to create a clean, approachable, and professional platform that showcases the teacher’s expertise, subjects offered, teaching philosophy, testimonials, and contact information.

Key Objectives:

• Establish trust and credibility with parents and students

• Present qualifications, teaching experience, and subject focus areas

• Enable easy navigation and quick access to contact options or booking lessons

• Ensure mobile-first responsiveness for on-the-go accessibility

My Role:
I led the design process from research to wireframing, UI styling, and prototyping. The visual direction leaned towards minimalism with friendly typography and warm colors to reflect the teacher’s approachable nature.

Deliverables:

• User journey maps and low-fidelity wireframes

• High-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile

• Interactive prototype (Figma)

• Design handoff kit for development

The final design delivers a seamless and engaging experience, tailored to highlight the teacher’s strengths and connect with prospective clients effectively.
